Terence Crawford is preparing for the biggest fight of his career as September 13th will see him face Canelo Alvarez live on Netflix.
Terence Crawford will put his 41-0 record on the line as he jumps two weight classes to fight the face of boxing himself in Canelo Alvarez.
Crawford hopes to do the unthinkable and hand Canelo his third-ever defeat. Alvarez has fought 67 times, yet has only lost twice, to Floyd Mayweather and, in a bid to jump in weight, to Dmitry Bivol.
Though undefeated as a pro, Crawford has tasted defeat before, with an amateur record of 58-12. Out of his combined 111 fights, though, there is just one man who defeated Bud twice.

Terence Crawford lost twice to Jerry Belmontes
Crawford may be undefeated as a pro, but in the amateur game things are a little different.
Bud amassed a record of 58-12 in his 70-fight amateur career, losing to 11 men.
Of those 11 men, Crawford avenged three losses and was one-apiece with Danny Garcia, Ibrahim Kamal, and Miguel Angel Gonzalez.

Crawford lost to some notable names, including Yordenis Ugas, who defeated Manny Pacquiao in his 2021 comeback attempt, and Sadam Ali, who retired Miguel Cotto.
Of the 11 men to beat Bud, then, just eight hold a win over him without also having been beaten by the Omaha-native. Ray Robinson, who defeated Crawford in 2005, is one of those, but there is just one man who beat Bud not once, but twice.
Jerry Belmontes faced Crawford in 2006 in Kansas City and won on points. He was the seventh man to defeat Bud, but he wasn’t finished yet.
A year later, in the USA National Championship semi-finals, Belmontes robbed Crawford of his chance at gold as he defeated him yet again.
According to BoxRec, Belmontes holds an amateur record of 16-10, and a professional record of 21-10.
Terence Crawford reveals physique ahead of Canelo clash
In just one week from now, Crawford will face Canelo at super-middleweight after having fought last at super-welterweight in August last year.
The fight, which will be live on Netflix, will hinge on just how well Bud can cope at the higher weight. Will he be slower? Will he be able to take Canelo’s punches?
Days out from the blockbuster bout, Bud has shown off his impressive physique, looking like a natural super-middleweight and in great condition.
With the weight disadvantage perhaps not what it first seemed, fans are now anticipating the bout even more, as the favorite to win becomes less and less clear.
