Oleksandr Usyk hopes to cement his greatness and become a three-time undisputed champion with a win over Daniel Dubois on July 19th.
2025’s biggest night of boxing will see Oleksandr Usyk rematch Daniel Dubois after their first fight was marred by a low-blow from Dubois.
For Usyk the fight is a chance to cement his legacy, and for Dubois it is a shot at the pinnacle of boxing – the undisputed heavyweight crown.
Usyk has been on a dominant run in the heavyweight division, beating the likes of Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua, and Derek Chisora, and it was in one of these fights that Usyk did what no other man could.

Oleksandr Usyk landed more punches on Anthony Joshua in a single round than anyone else
In 2021, Usyk became the second man to defeat AJ, and the first to defeat him and not be beaten by him after.
With his win, he claimed Joshua’s world titles, and a rematch was put in place for Saudi Arabia.
In the rematch, Joshua, whose next opponent was almost Dillian Whyte, fought a better game plan, but still came up short, though this time on a controversial split decision rather than a unanimous one.
Usyk proved himself to be on another level that night, and set multiple records during the fight.
According to CompuBox, Usyk set new records for punches landed by an opponent with 170 and, interestingly, most punches landed on AJ in a single round.
Usyk landed 39 punches on AJ in the 10th round, which equates to 11 punches landed every minute.
Joshua, who may face Deontay Wilder soon, has stated that he would be keen to face Usyk again, though first has his sights set on a comeback later this year.
