Manny Pacquiao is known for his quadrilogy with Juan Manuel Marquez, but his brother one-upped him with a pentalogy against one ‘Baby’ opponent.
Manny Pacquiao enjoyed a legendary career ahead of his ring return against Mario Barrios, which tops 2025’s biggest night in boxing, but his brother’s career is one that many are entirely unaware of.
Bobby Pacquiao, Manny’s younger brother, turned pro in 1997, but after losing three and drawing two of his first 10 fights, it was clear his trajectory would not be the same as his older brother’s.
That said, Pacquiao retired with a record of 31-15-3, and had a bitter rivalry with one fighter in particular.

Bobby Pacquiao defeated Baby Lorona Jr. three times in five-fight rivalry
In 2002, 19-9-2 Pacquiao came face-to-face with 31-17-2 Baby Lorona Jr. Pacquiao defended his Philippine Game and Amusements Board super-featherweight title with a unanimous decision, but the pair ran it back just four months later to an entirely different result.
In March 2003, Pacquiao and Baby Lorona fought again. This time, Lorona stopped Pacquiao in the seventh round, making their rivalry 1-1, making a trilogy necessary.
Two months after their rematch, the familiar foes found themselves fighting again, and Pacquiao once again won by unanimous decision in another close fight.

The rivalry was put to bed, at least for a few months, and Pacquiao picked up three more wins in 2003.
In 2004, though, stood before him in March was none other than Baby Lorona, for the fourth time.
Now 2-1 in their feud, Pacquiao hoped to cement himself as the better man, though a horror cut in the second round forced a premature stoppage to the fight, leading to a technical decision draw.
July 2004 saw the fifth and final instalment of the feud, in which Pacquiao elevated the score to 3-1-1 with a third unanimous decision victory.
Baby Lorona saw mixed results in the remainder of their career
Following the feud with Pacquiao, Lorona fought 15 more times.
Lorona lost six of these fights, and drew one.
He finished his career with a record of 42-26-4.
His brother Manny will face world champion Barrios, who had a panic attack after a fight with Batyr Akhmedov, on July 19th.
