Adrien Broner was furious after losing to Manny Pacquiao

On January 19, 2019, Manny Pacquiao successfully defended his WBA welterweight world title against Adrien Broner.

The now Hall of Famer dominated the contest, winning by a wide margin on the scorecards.

However, despite the one-sided nature of the fight, the American emerged from the contest believing he ought to have won, and proceeded to deliver a memorable interview.

Broner raged: “I beat him, everybody out there knows I beat him. I controlled the fight; he was missing, I hit him clean more times. I beat him.”

When Jim Gray pointed out his poor punch statistics, the boxer fumed: “It already sounds like you’re against me. So, I’m not going to get a fair shake talking to you.”

While Broner emerged from the fight without getting knocked out, not every Pacquiao opponent has been so lucky.
