While it’s been a long time since Manny Pacquiao brutally finished Erik Morales, many are hopeful he still has what it takes to produce a vintage performance.

Interestingly, after ending his previous retirement, he put on a spectacular showing.

Manny Pacquiao defeated Jessie Vargas to become world champion again

After defeating Tim Bradley in a trilogy bout on April 9, 2016, Manny Pacquiao retired from the sport of boxing. However, by November 5 of the same year, he was back in action against Jessie Vargas.

The pair traded leather in an entertaining contest at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

In the second round, ‘PacMan’ sent his rival hurtling towards the canvas with a massive left hand.

Showcasing grit and determination, the Mexican-American rose to his feet and continued to fight with his heart on his sleeve.

However, throughout the contest, the eight-weight world champion was simply far too good, peppering his opponent with classy shots, en route to winning via unanimous decision.
