Edgar Berlanga dropped a tough fighter four times, but couldn’t secure the stoppage.

At the start of his professional career, the American was virtually flawless, finishing his first 16 opponents inside the first round.

It’s fair to say the warrior carries a lot of power. Berlanga has even claimed he hits harder than Mike Tyson.

However, in his 17th bout in the paid ranks, despite connecting with several massive shots, he couldn’t close the show.

Edgar Berlanga dropped Demond Nicholson four times

On April 24, 2021, Edgar Berlanga went to war with Demond Nicholson inside the Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee, Florida, USA.

Having knocked out all his previous opponents, ‘D’Best at it’ was expected to meet the same fate, but in a testament to his toughness, he refused to give up.

Fighting defensively, Nicholson survived the opening round unscathed, but in the second, a left hook sent him hurtling towards the canvas.

In the following segment, Berlanga scored another knockdown, this time via a heavy right hand.

Two rounds later, the brawler dropped his rival to the floor with a left hook.

Then, in the closing seconds of the eight-round bout, Berlanga launched a magnificent counterpunch to bag one last knockdown.

On Saturday evening, Berlanga will return to action in a massive fight.

The power puncher is set to go to war with Hamzah Sheeraz inside the Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York, USA.
