Amanda Serrano has a reputation for being one of the hardest-hitting female boxers in the sport today.
With a current record of 47-3-1, ‘The Real Deal’ has 31 knockouts to her name.
As Serrano and Taylor will meet for a third time on July 11th at Madison Square Garden, the Puerto Rican will look to get her first win in the fight series.
Following Serrano’s history-making first encounter with Taylor, she went on a five-fight winning streak. In the final outing of that run, Serrano was able to score a quick stoppage.

Amanda Serrano stopped Stevie Morgan in the second round of their 2024 fight
Fighting on the undercard of Jake Paul vs Mike Perry in July 2024, Serrano was looking for her fifth successive win after falling short against Taylor two years prior.
In a non-title bout, Serrano was paired with Stevie Morgan, who had a 14-1 record. With the nickname ‘The Sledgehammer,’ all but one of Morgan’s wins had come via stoppage, and her only loss was via majority decision.
However, it would be a quick and one-sided showing from the multiple-weight champion.
Serrano walked down her opponent in the opening round, landing a number of damaging blows in the process. In the second round, Serrano would build on her previous good work.
Picking up where she left off, Serrano did not take a back step as she was relentless in her approach. As she continued to tag Morgan, the referee felt he had seen enough in the opening minute of the second round.
The referee waved off the bout, as Morgan fell to the second defeat of her career.
It was the 31st stoppage win of Serrano’s career as she improved her record to 47-3-1.

Amanda Serrano suffered back-to-back losses against Katie Taylor
Serrano’s five-fight winning streak after her loss to Taylor may have boosted the Puerto Rican’s confidence. However, she was not able to get revenge on the Irish woman.
Although Taylor was accused of fighting ‘dirty’ in the second meeting, she emerged the victor in the co-main event of Paul vs Mike Tyson.
Losing narrowly by unanimous decision, Serrano suffered successive losses to her rival, as Taylor improved her record to 24-1.
Serrano will get a third, and very likely final, chance to redeem herself against Taylor when they meet for their trilogy fight.
