Turki Alalshikh recently revealed his desire to get former heavyweight champion, Wladimir Klitschko out of retirement, offering him the chance to become the oldest champion ever.
This coming Saturday, Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury are scheduled to clash in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in one of the biggest boxing rematches ever.
However, ahead of their monumental clash, the consensus savior of boxing, Turki Alalshikh has stated how much he would like Wladimir Klitschko to come out of retirement to fight for the title.

Wladimir Klitschko breaks his silence regarding a potential comeback
With their first meeting this past May having been such a spectacle, it was always certain that ‘The Gypsy King’ and Usyk would end up rematching.
Ahead of their fight on Saturday night, it has been revealed that there is a clause in the contract for an epic trilogy, depending on the result of the fight.
However, former champion, Klitschko has given his prediction on how the fight will go, of course favoring his fellow Ukrainian.
“There are a lot of rumors these days about a possible comeback… At the moment I’m not concerned with my return to boxing,” Klitschko said in a tweet on X.
“And let me be clear, I’ve never stopped training. So IF there was to be a fight, I’d be ready on the spot. But this weekend I’m just going to see a fight with a talented Ukrainian. Go Usyk!” he continued.
Back in 2015, Fury went into enemy territory to take on Klitschko for the WBA, IBF, WBO, and Ring Magazine heavyweight titles, scoring a unanimous decision win.
The Ukrainian went on to fight once more after that against Anthony Joshua, with ‘AJ’ scoring a brutal 11th-round knockout.
- CORNER CHANGE: Tyson Fury makes major change to his corner team just days out from his rematch against Oleksandr Usyk
Although the 48-year-old is not concerned with his return to boxing just yet, depending on the result of Saturday night’s main event, he may decide to dust off the gloves and rematch Fury if offered the opportunity.
Tyson Fury dismisses potential future fight against Anthony Joshua
Fans have always salivated at the thought of a potential all-British clash between Fury and Joshua, however, it has never come to fruition as their paths have never completely crossed.
The potential of that fight was thrown further into unlikeliness when Joshua was brutally beaten by Daniel Dubois earlier this year.
Following that shock loss, Fury recently said a fight against Joshua likely won’t happen as the heavyweight is ‘in tatters’ and needs to pick up the pieces of his last loss.
