Away from the ring, Tyson Fury is known for his larger than life character: a fiercely charismatic personality which, at times, transcends boxing.
Often, his comments will spark a degree of controversy but, when it comes to his showmanship both in and out of the ring, very few can match the ‘Gypsy King.’
And so, whenever Tyson Fury enters a career-defining showdown, the 6’ 9’’ man-mountain will always ooze confidence, something he seemingly has an ample supply of.
But now, after suffering a humbling defeat to Oleksander Usyk back in May, it will be interesting to see how the 36-year-old approaches his eagerly-awaited rematch on December 21.

Todd DuBoef believes Tyson Fury has learned a ‘hard lesson’ from his defeat to Oleksandr Usyk
Before the pair locked horns earlier this year, many believed that Fury’s size and strength would be too much for Usyk, a former undisputed cruiserweight champion.
That much, at least in the middle rounds, proved to be true; but then, Usyk was able to use his endurance down the stretch to secure a historic victory on points, becoming the first undisputed heavyweight king since Lennox Lewis.
So, with his fighter displaying a tendency to showboat during each round, Top Rank promoter Todd DuBoef hopes his first professional loss has inspired some discipline in the Fury camp.
“In those middle rounds it felt like he was just teeing off on him and I think he just got a little lackadaisical and confident,” DuBoef told Sky Sports.
“I think he learned a lesson and it was a hard lesson. But I also believe the other guy’s going to be better this time, because he has more confidence.
“I think his personality – the way he [Fury] is in the ring – is just his character. But I think he’s going to not take things for granted and I think learned a hard lesson.”

Tyson Fury to feature in ESPN documentary series – ‘The Fight Life’
As it happens, DuBoef’s comments have arrived just in time for Top Rank to announce their new documentary series on ESPN.
The first episode of which will premiere on October 7, with Fury’s compelling story taking center stage in the coveted curtain raiser.
As well as giving fans an insight into the former heavyweight world champion’s day-to-day life, the episode is set to reveal certain aspects of his fierce rivalry with Usyk.
What is more, the docuseries will also follow the lives of Teofimo Lopez, Josh Taylor, Seniesa Estrada, and Naoya Inoue, providing fans with plenty to look forward to.
