Tyson Fury reveals who hit harder out of Deontay Wilder and Francis Ngannou

Tyson Fury has opened up about whether Deontay Wilder or Francis Ngannou carries more power in their punches.

In his esteemed career, ‘The Gypsy King’ has shared the squared circle with a plethora of heavy hitters. But it’s fair to say ‘The Bronze Bomber’ and ‘The Predator’ stand out from the pack.

During three encounters with the American, the Brit hit the canvas on four separate occasions, and during his fight with the former UFC champion, Fury was sent hurtling to the floor from a massive left hook.

However, while both of his former opponents could pack a punch, one of them comfortably hits harder than the other.

Tyson Fury says Deontay Wilder hits harder than Francis Ngannou

While Tyson Fury confesses that Francis Ngannou certainly carries dynamite in his hands, nobody he’s faced is in the same league as Deontay Wilder when it comes to power.

In boxing history, it’s tough to find anyone who has the same venom in their shots at the former WBC heavyweight world champion. After all, Wilder once left Siarhei Liakhovich twitching on the floor after detonating a right hand on the former WBO King’s chin.

In an interview with The Stomping Ground, Fury said the biggest puncher he’s fought is: “Deontay Wilder by far. Francis Ngannou is a big puncher, but I wasn’t really troubled by any of his punches.

“It wasn’t like it was dynamite and every time he hit me, I was wobbled. It was just one shot on the back of the head. That was it.

“So, Wilder is still the biggest puncher I’ve ever been in the ring with, by a mile.”

Deontay Wilder destroyed a former soccer hooligan with a horrifying knockout blow

Wilder has many an impressive knockout on his resume, from Liakhovich to Dominic Breazeale and Luis Ortiz.

However, there’s one other finish from his illustrious career that may be the best of the lot.

On a night he’ll never forget, the Alabama brawler went head-to-head with a skilled operator, who gave him all he could handle.

However, in the end, as he often does, the thunderous puncher found a way to win. In a horrifying moment, Wilder knocked a former soccer hooligan out cold.
