Frank Warren has revealed that Tyson Fury will make a public announcement soon.
The ‘Gypsy King’ created a stir when he retired in January 2025, following his second consecutive loss to Oleksandr Usyk.
Although fans did not believe Fury’s retirement at the time, there has been no indication that the former champion’s retirement was illegitimate.
Despite Eddie Hearn allegedly booking a stadium for Fury vs Anthony Joshua, signs indicate that the now 34-2-1 boxer will not fight in 2025.
However, Warren has said that a big announcement is coming from Fury despite the retirement.

Frank Warren displays excitement over Tyson Fury announcement
Speaking at the announcement of Dillian Whyte vs Joe Joyce, Warren was asked if he had any communication with Fury regarding steps in his future.
Although Warren said that he hadn’t discussed a return to fighting with Fury, he gave credit to his former fighter by listing the mental and physical struggles that the ‘Gypsy King’ overcame.
Warren added, “I wouldn’t encourage him to fight again but if he does fight again, who knows, he may do it again, that’s up to him.”
Although a return to the ring is seemingly not in the eyes of Fury, Warren did say that news would come out soon about the fighter.
“What I know he’s going to be doing is making some serious announcement about things he is doing outside of the ring that are exciting. I’m not going to say what they are, but they are bloody exciting. Everybody’s going to love it.”

Tyson Fury was in attendance for his cousin’s fight in Manchester
On the undercard of Derek Chisora vs Otto Wallin, Fury’s cousin was fighting, with the ‘Gypsy King’ in attendance.
Walter Fury, the cousin of Tyson, was able to extend his fresh boxing record to 3-0 on Saturday night, with a decision victory over Joe Hardy.
Aged 27, Fury made his debut in June of 2024 and has won all of his fights via decision.
Tyson Fury was briefly in attendance to watch his cousin fight, however, was seemingly not interested in staying for the main event following his family member’s win.
