Tyson Fury claims there’s a heavyweight more talented than both Oleksandr Usyk and him

While Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk are undeniably two of the best the heavyweight division has ever seen, ‘The Gypsy King’ believes that neither are the most talented in the division.

The Brit is adamant that the most gifted fighter of them all is currently working his way up the ladder in America.

Tyson Fury says Jared Anderson is the most talented fighter in heavyweight boxing

While no longer the champion of the world, Tyson Fury is a freak of nature for a man his size.

Blessed with remarkable head movement and sensational footwork, the 6ft9 giant has dominated almost everyone who’s dared set foot in the ring with him.

And while Oleksandr Usyk was able to find a way to secure the victory, Fury’s ability is beyond doubt.

However, he remains adamant that one fighter is more gifted than even him.

OH NO: Jake Paul was stunned when boxing promoter brutally branded him ‘average’

In an interview with the Pound for Pound Podcast, he said: “I would also like to see Jared Anderson back in the mix.

“The young big baby. Now, for me, he’s the most talented heavyweight in the world by far.

“But coming off his last fight, he had a knockout loss, so talent sometimes doesn’t cut it if you are rushed into fights you are not ready for.

“He fought this guy called Martin Bakole, who is an absolute seasoned man, 30 years old, in the prime of his life, as strong as a rhinoceros.

“And he goes in there with a 24-year-old kid, who has had 17 tomato cans and has come through them with flying colors.

“But he wasn’t ready for that fight, maybe five or six more fights, a year or so away from that.

“It’s put him back a long way now, and that does a lot for a fighter’s confidence, but I’d like to see him back in the ring as well.”

Boxing legend highlights Tyson Fury’s discipline as a major factor ahead of Oleksandr Usyk rematch

Throughout his career, Fury has had all the skills in the world, but hasn’t always had the work ethic to match.

While a hard trainer in the gym, and undeniably a warrior in the ring, when he’s not in camp, the 36-year-old has a habit of blowing up.

Therefore, according to a combat sports icon, Fury must put his all into his preparations for his bout with Usyk, with anything less being a recipe for disaster.
