Jake Paul’s recent fight against Mike Tyson is still a hot topic of conversation in the boxing world and Turki Alalshikh has commented on ‘The Problem Child’s’ ongoing strategy in the sport.
This past November, Jake Paul sailed to a unanimous decision victory in an extremely controversial fight against 58-year-old, Mike Tyson.
Despite the professional boxing fight being covered in controversy, it turned out to be a huge success in terms of viewing figures, as Netflix announced that it broke modern-day records.

Although the fight broke viewership records, the outcome was always pretty self-explanatory, considering the staggering 31 year age gap.
Because of that, ‘The Problem Child’ has continued to receive criticism from the boxing world, which has now included comments from the consensus savior of boxing, Turki Alalshikh.
The Saudi boxing chief has become one of the most popular figures in the sport, working hard to give the fans what they want by putting on fights between the best. Alalshikh recently announced a mammoth card ‘The Last Crescendo’, with the main event being a rematch between Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol.
“If he wants to be a real boxer, he needs to take on big fights against boxers, not treat it like a show,” Alalshikh said.
“That’s my opinion because it’s damaging to boxing. I know he doesn’t like this… Boxing is not 14oz gloves, not two-minute rounds, not beating a legend at the age of your grandfather. Boxing is not like this. Do not name it boxing, please.
“I am not against it – name it a show, entertainment, but do not name it boxing,” Turki continued.
Jake Paul offered rematch against Tommy Fury
The 27-year-old has been offered several fights by professional champions, including Artur Beterbiev and Daniel Dubois, before they booked their upcoming fights on ‘The Last Crescendo’.
Paul recently took aim at ‘Floyd Mayweather’s little son’, Gervonta Davis, after ‘Tank’ said he would fight ‘The Problem Child’ in an unofficial callout.
Despite that, someone else who has offered Paul a fight is the only man to have beaten him in the ring so far, Tommy Fury.
‘TNT’ Fury was scheduled to make his return to the ring against former UFC star, Darren Till but announced his withdrawal from the fight after Till claimed he would kick him if he was losing the fight.
With that, the professional boxer took to social media to offer Paul a rematch, stating: “I’ve just woke up and seen Logan Paul talk on his podcast yet again about how I don’t wanna fight Jake and that I’m running scared.
“No one is running from that fight, I beat you once already, handed you your first loss. The minute you stepped up and fought a real boxer, you lost fair and square… I can give you a second loss, that’s not a problem but let’s talk some serious numbers,” Fury said.
Paul went on to claim that he offered Fury $8m for the rematch but the Brit, ‘ran away from it’.
