‘This is so smart’… Fans react to David Benavidez’s  new camp mansion able to house 20 boxers at once

David Benavidez has his sights set on the top of the light-heavyweight division and has recently revealed the brand new gym that’ll help him get there.

David Benavidez boasts an undefeated record of 30-0. Nicknamed ‘The Mexican Monster’, Benavidez has won all but six of his fights via stoppage.

Only three men in the past six years have survived Benavidez’s onslaught – Caleb Plant, Oleksandr Gvozdyk, and, most recently, David Morrell.

Benavidez initially had his sights set on a clash with Canelo, who recently punched Mexican influencer Paulo Chavira, at super-middleweight, but has since moved on to the light-heavyweight division after realizing this fight is unlikely to happen.

Benavidez’ father has since revealed the facilities that may well take his son, and many other fighters, to the top of their game.

David Benavidez’s father and trainer, Jose Benavidez Sr., recently revealed his brand new, state-of-the-art fight camp mansion, complete with a hyperbaric chamber, sauna, gym, and accommodation for up to 20 fighters.

Benavidez Sr. currently trains his sons, David and Jose Benavidez, as well as rising contender Diego Pacheco, whose brother Fed recently fought a man 80 pounds lighter than him.

The gym has received much praise on social media, with one fan saying:

And another expressing:

“I need this camp in my life who I gotta go through to get it”

David Benavidez to face Dmitry Bivol for the undisputed titles NEXT

Following Dmitry Bivol‘s win over Artur Beterbiev in their much-anticipated rematch, it seems Bivol may opt to defend his titles against Benavidez either before or instead of making the trilogy with Beterbiev.

The Ring reported that negotiations are well underway and that the fight may come to fruition as early as this summer.

Benavidez revealed ahead of Bivol-Beterbiev 2 that he wanted Bivol to win, as Bivol has already beaten Canelo, and Benavidez would like to say he beat the man who beat the man.

Benavidez reportedly dropped Bivol in sparring once, according to a guest on the Joe Rogan podcast.
