Terence Crawford weighs in on Jake Paul vs. Gervonta Davis Netflix mismatch: ‘I don’t know…’

Preparing for his own grudge match next weekend, Terence Crawford has offered his two cents on the November pairing of Jake Paul and Gervonta Davis.

Returning to the ring on September 13, unbeaten star Terence Crawford will challenge for the undisputed super middleweight title, taking on the defending kingpin Canelo Alvarez in a massive blockbuster clash.

And with all eyes on their pairing next weekend, Canelo and Crawford will battle it out for likely the biggest fight of the year, with Jake Paul, who takes on WBA lightweight champion Gervonta Davis in an exhibition clash.

Sharing his brief preview of the pairing, Crawford was less than confident in offering an initial prediction for the underfire Netflix clash.

Terence Crawford notes weight difference in Jake Paul, Gervonta Davis fight

Whilst much is up in the air at the moment regarding the November pairing of Paul and Davis, the main talking point in the clash is the sheer weight difference between the duo.

Boasting a 65lb weight advantage over WBA lightweight kingpin Davis, Paul’s size may be a massive factor in the November clash, according to unbeaten former undisputed champion Crawford.

“I don’t know what’s going to happen with a 135-pounder going up against a 200-pounder, you know?” Crawford said on the Full Send podcast.

“If it’s scripted, then it’s going to be good for the fans to watch,” Crawford teased.

Seemingly not the biggest fan of both Canelo and Crawford, the Ohio native offered a rather interesting prediction for the title grudge match.

Jake Paul predicts ‘dance off’ between Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford

Ripping both Canelo and Crawford’s recent wins over William Scull and Israil Madrimov, respectively, outspoken influencer Paul mocked the duo’s performances during their victories.

And based on their recent wins, Paul has boldly predicted a rather boring snoozefest between the duo in their super middleweight title affair.

“Obviously, Crawford is a great fighter, Canelo is a great fighter,” Paul told FightHype .We just saw them coming off some boring a– fights. They’re probably just gonna sit there and dance for 12 rounds.”
