Still with plenty to do ahead of his super fight with Canelo Alvarez in just weeks’ time, Terence Crawford has been offered some advice on his next outing to the ring.
Gearing up for his first super middleweight outing, the unbeaten Terence Crawford will challenge for the undisputed divisional crown on his bow, taking on Canelo Alvarez.

Remaining confident in his ability to upset the apple cart in his divisional move and defeat Canelo, Crawford has ramped up his pre-fight promotion for the blockbuster clash.
However, irrespective of his result against the Mexican, it’s unknown if super middleweight will be Crawford’s new home.

But he’s now been urged to consider a prolonged stay at the division by a British promoter.
Eddie Hearn warns Terence Crawford against Jaron Ennis title fight
Previously holding the undisputed light welterweight and welterweight proper championships, Crawford made his last outing at 146lbs in his memorable stoppage of Errol Spence Jr.
The Omaha native would test light middleweight waters afterwards, beating Israil Madrimov.
But if he is to remain at super middleweight post-Canelo, Crawford would be making a wise decision according to Eddie Hearn, with the Matchroom Boxing star noting the emergence of the Mexican’s new training partner, Jaron Ennis.
“He’s (Jaron Ennis) fighting a final eliminator for the WBA title [against Uisma Lima], which puts us as mandatory to Terence Crawford,” Hearn told The Ring. “Now, obviously, he may never fight again at ’54 [pounds], but he has not vacated his title yet.
“If I’m Terence Crawford, I’m vacating now,” Hearn explained. “Because when we become mandatory, we’re calling that fight on, and then he’s gonna have to vacate the belt once ‘Boots’ is mandatory. That’s not a great look.”
And while Crawford isn’t necessarily overlooking Canelo just 14 days out from their showdown, the former welterweight star’s coach is expecting a dominant win.
‘Bomac’ expects Terence Crawford to sail past Canelo Alvarez
The long-time trainer of Crawford, Brian ‘Bomac’ McIntyre has weighed in on his student’s chances of toppling Canelo when they share the ring in Las Vegas.
And confident as ever, McIntyre recalled Crawford’s emphatic knockout win over Spence Jr. in his one-sided undisputed title win.

So confident, in fact, he expects Crawford to turn in a dominant win over Canelo — becoming just the third man to defeat the Jalisco star after Floyd Mayweather and Dmitry Bivol.
“We gonna beat this m———— a–, dog,” McIntyre told The Ring. “It ain’t no cakewalk. But we’re gonna beat his (Canelo Alvarez) a–.
“I promise you that,” McIntyre explained. “Watch and see — I ain’t steered you wrong yet. I ain’t in the business to start now. F— that s—. I tried to tell them about (Errol) Spence (Jr.), but they didn’t wanna listen.”
