Jesus Ramos believes Terence Crawford can beat Canelo Alvarez.
Having sparred with the American, the 24-year-old knows exactly what he’s capable of.
When asked who wins the fight during an interview with ESNEWS, Ramos said: “I think Crawford has got a decent shot. He can box, and he’s really good.
“I’m excited to see how he comes into a fight with it being a new weight class.”
Then, the boxer claimed that Crawford has excelled behind the scenes against larger competitors, and thus, he has come to the conclusion that if ‘Bud’ can perform like that on the night, then there’s no reason why Canelo’s weight should make any difference when they set foot inside the ring together.
Ramos continued: “I think the size advantage might not be that much.
“He’s big. I’ve seen him spar bigger guys. I know he can hold his own in there. I know Canelo is different, but I still think he’s got a good shot.”
