However, just days out from his super fight with the Jalisco native, Crawford has offered a bold prediction for the showdown.

“All those doubters, at the end of the day, at the end of the fight, they’re all gonna cry when they get home,” Crawford told fans during an event in Nebraska of his fight with Canelo.

And with Canelo putting in work alongside fellow world champion Jaron Ennis ahead of his fight with Crawford, Smith is confident in his pick for the fight as a result.
“I think it shows you Canelo’s (Alvarez) take on the fight [with Crawford] if he’s getting ‘Boot’s (Jaron) Ennis into sparring — ‘Boots’ Ennis is a great fighter, so he’s taking it seriously,” Smith told Seconds Out.
“Canelo,” Smith said when asked for his pick. “Maybe [by a] late stoppage or [on] points, yeah. Canelo.”
