Terence Crawford is in a lot of trouble against Canelo Alvarez, according to an exceptional trainer.
On September 13, the pound-for-pound superstars will meet in a super fight at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
While Shannon Briggs expects Crawford to knock Canelo out, the Mexican is still a clear favorite.
And one coach can’t see a world in which the American upsets the apple cart.

Terence Crawford loses to Canelo Alvarez, says Abel Sanchez
Abel Sanchez claims Terence Crawford is simply too small to defeat Canelo Alvarez.
While the boxing aficionado expects ‘Bud’ to win the early rounds, he believes slowly but surely, Canelo will start to dominate.
In an interview with Boxing News, Sanchez said: “I honestly think that Canelo is too big.
“Terence is a superb fighter. He’s a first ballot Hall of Famer. I just think that moving up in weight without having fights to merit that, is the wrong move.
“He couldn’t handle a 154-pounder in the way he was handling everyone else before, and Israil Madrimov is not Canelo.
“Canelo is used to fighting bigger guys and has done very well with the bigger guys; nobody has hurt him. He fought Gennadiy Golovkin, and Dmitry Bivol hit him with everything and couldn’t hurt him, so how is Terence going to do that? I don’t think he can.
“The first three or four rounds will be difficult for Canelo because of the speed, but just like when Golovkin fought Kell Brook, Terence is going to expose himself when he throws his punches and Canelo will finally get his timing down and will be able to control the fight.”
Terence Crawford warned not to make a massive mistake against Canelo Alvarez
Crawford is undeniably the underdog ahead of next month’s bout.
Therefore, it goes without saying that he’s going above and beyond in training camp to give himself the best possible chance of claiming a victory.
However, an ex-world champion has advised him not to do one specific thing.
Interestingly, an icon explained the mistake Crawford can’t make against Canelo.
