Teofimo Lopez has called out several bona fide stars, across three weight classes, in a bid to reach the pinnacle of his sport.
The WBO super lightweight titlist has captivated fans with his explosive style, producing two standout performances against former undisputed champions Vasyl Lomachenko and Josh Taylor.
But, since his career-best victories, the 27-year-old has struggled to generate the same level of impetus that saw him seize all four major titles down at 135 lbs.
Now that he is edging closer to landing another monumental showdown, though, Teofimo Lopez may well be compelled to elevate his game once again.

Bob Arum confirms talks with Eddie Hearn to make Jaron Ennis vs. Teofimo Lopez
‘The Takeover’ comes off two pedestrian title defenses against Steve Claggett and Jamaine Ortiz, seemingly struggling to get out of second gear in both outings.
But still, the American looks to take on a world-beater in his next assignment, expressing his desire to face Gervonta Davis, Terence Crawford or Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis.
Since revealing his three-man hitlist, however, it appears that IBF welterweight titlist Ennis has become a front runner for the potential Lopez clash.
The 27-year-old was heavily mooted to square off against Vergil Ortiz Jr on February 22, until deciding that remaining at 147 lbs was the best option for his promising career.
But now, Top Rank boss Bob Arum, Lopez’s promoter, has told Boxing Scene that his attorney has been in talks with Eddie Hearn, who promotes ‘Boots’, to stage the matchup as a joint pay-per-view on ESPN and DAZN.

Teofimo Lopez to move up in weight instead of unifying with Richardson Hitchins
Immediately after claiming the IBF super lightweight strap last Saturday, Richardson Hitchins called out Lopez for a potential unification.
In response, Lopez expressed his interest in the fight, claiming that he has already instructed his lawyer to explore the possible opportunity.
Hitchins, after all, comes off a comprehensive victory over Liam Paro, becoming one of the standout names in their division.
Yet still, it now appears that Lopez could move up in weight instead, taking on one of the most promising pound-for-pound talents in boxing.
