Shakur Stevenson won his fight with William Zepeda, though the card was criticized for one fight earlier in the night.
Shakur Stevenson has moved to 24-0 after handing William Zepeda his first career defeat.
In the co-main event, Hamzah Sheeraz produced an emphatic knockout over Edgar Berlanga after two knockdowns of the Puerto Rican. With the win, Sheeraz has likely earned a shot at the winner of Canelo vs Terence Crawford.
Elsewhere on the undercard was a fight many took issue with.

David Morrell won a disgraceful decision against Imam Khataev
In the second bout of the card, unbeaten Russian Imam Khataev was pitted against 11-1 David Morrell, whose last fight saw Morrell drop David Benavidez but lose a unanimous decision.
The fight was somewhat close, but a brief look at social media suggests fans of the sport were unanimously leaning one way.
Commentator Al Bernstein was so infuriated by Morrell‘s split decision victory that he took to X with a video blasting the decision.
“Khataev won certainly six rounds of the fight and more than likely seven rounds […] When you add in the knockdown he had in round five there is no conceivable way on this planet to score the fight for David Morrell.”
“The three judges, who should be ashamed of themselves for the rest of their lives for the scoring, all got it wrong.”
He concluded, “You have to be either blind or biased to give the fight to David Morrell.”
Imam Khataev has a fan-favorite Australian backing him all the way
Despite the controversial loss, Khataev was praised by his friend and fellow boxer George Kambosos Jr.
Kambosos reposted Bernstein’s video and exclaimed that Khataev’s stock has only risen.
He also called Khataev ‘the real winner’.
