Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano ran it back again to produce one of the fights of the year.
Over two years on from their first match-up, which Taylor won, the two came together as the final event before the main event of the Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson headliner.
The contest had already made history, with Taylor and Serrano set to earn the biggest payday in the history of women’s boxing.
Both fighters delivered an exceptional contest as Amanda Serrano battled through a hefty cut to the eye but couldn’t do enough to defeat Katie Taylor, who won by unanimous decision.

Amanda Serrano’s corner slams Katie Taylor for ‘dirty’ tactics
Despite producing another fascinating spectacle the fight wasn’t marred without controversy.
Taylor was controversially deducted a point for being accused of headbutting Serrano in the eighth round.
It was a common theme throughout the fight as the 38-year-old used her head to bulldoze her way throughout the fight.
Reporter Ariel Helwani spoke to Serrano’s corner while ringside during the fight and they didn’t hold back in their assessment.

They said: “She’s so dirty, she leads with her head man, she’s such a nice person outside [the ring] but when she goes in there, she’s so dirty.
“A lot of her opponents have been cut and headbutted, she leads with her head man – that’s her best attribute.
“It’s bad, it impairs your vision, but Amanda is a warrior, little warrior coming up fighting the so-called best in the world and all she can do is f**** headbutt and hold. That’s why she got a point taken off, right now I believe we’re ahead.”
Katie Taylor hints at third Amanda Serrano fight
After a phenomenal contest between the two in Arlington, Texas once again, the next question on everyone’s lips is… ‘Will there be a third fight?’
If Taylor’s comments are anything to go by, then it’s certainly on the cards. Furthermore, the 38-year-old even suggested 12 three-minute rounds in light of Alycia Baumgardner’s proposal to introduce three-minute rounds in women’s boxing.
“Well, it’s obviously hard to score the fight, but I knew it was an absolute slug fest in there, an absolute war. Thank god I won this fight,” Taylor told Netflix.
“Congratulations to Amanda. She’s a fantastic fighter. I think we agreed to 12 three minute rounds in our next fight. The triple is on.”
Serrano meanwhile believed that the judges would never be on her side after a controversial scorecard before adding that she would also be partial to a trilogy contest, but the final say wouldn’t be with the Puerto Rican.
She said: “Listen, I knew if it went to the judges, I knew it was going to be shady.
“Every time you get a cut, it hurts. We knew that from the first fight, that’s what she does. She did it with Chantelle Cameron. I’m going to die in that ring no matter what. No matter how many cuts I have on my face, I’m going to die until the very end.”
