Shakur Stevenson will face William Zepeda on The Ring’s third boxing card, also featuring Edgar Berlanga vs Hamzah Sheeraz.
Shakur Stevenson may face his toughest test yet as he steps up against the unbeaten 33-0 William Zepeda in New York.
Stevenson comes off a KO win over electrician-turned-boxer Josh Padley, whilst Zepeda comes off two close shaves against Tevin Farmer.
The card also features David Morrell vs unbeaten Imam Khataev in what is sure to be an action-packed bout, as well as one other underrated match-up.

Subriel Matias is hoping to reclaim glory against Alberto Puello
Also on the undercard, 22-2 Subriel Matias is looking to become a two-time super-lightweight champion as he eyes a win over unbeaten Alberto Puello.
Matias lost his title when Aussie fighter Liam Paro caused a major upset in Matias’ home country of Puerto Rico.
His only other loss came at a lower-level via a close decision in 2020.
Puello, meanwhile, is coming off a razor-close victory over the talented Sandor Martin, who many believe beat Teofimo Lopez in their fight, and a win over Gary Antuanne Russell in the fight before that.
Puello has just 10 knockouts to his 24 wins, whilst Matias has never gone the distance and won, winning all 22 of his fights by KO.
Matias has the highest KO percentage of any high-profile fighter at 91.6%.
Subriel Matias’ opponent suffered worst fate imaginable after brutal fight
In July 2019, Matias faced 13-0 Maxim Dadashev in the United States. After 11 hard and brutal rounds, Buddy McGirt, Dadashev’s trainer, put an end to the fight to spare his man anymore punishment.
Dadashev objected to the stoppage, but collapsed after exiting the ring.
He suffered injuries to the brain and was placed in an induced coma.
Four days later, the 28-year-old Dadashev passed away from his injuries.
