Shakur Stevenson remains undefeated and is seeking a big test next if he can get past William Zepeda.
Shakur Stevenson‘s record sits at 23-0 after beating electrician-turned-boxer Josh Padley last time out. It has since been announced that Stevenson will face 33-0 William Zepeda at the Louis Armstrong Stadium.
According to Stevenson’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, the lightweight star has declared he’d be up for fighting one of Britain’s hottest prospects around next, a fighter who has faced much controversy but has thrilled fans and spectators alike.

Shakur Stevenson wants Conor Benn next, says Eddie Hearn
In an interview with The Stomping Ground, Eddie Hearn spoke on Conor Benn‘s stock rising after the Chris Eubank Jr. fight, even though he lost.
Benn dropped a points decision defeat to Eubank Jr., whose brother-in-law has now spoken out, in front of 65,000 fans in the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but earned much respect for his willingness to leave everything in the ring.
Hearn said of the potential match-up: “Shakur, he’s been on to me today, Conor’s been on to me, I’m with Shakur tomorrow […] He said I’ll fight Conor Benn at 147.”
Hearn continued: “Conor Benn’s got everybody calling him out – Rolly, Ryan, Devin, Shakur, Tank.”
He maintained, though, that a Eubank Jr. rematch would come next.
Shakur Stevenson’s next fight card will also feature Canelo’s former foe versus rising prospect
Shakur’s next fight, which will feature on what will be The Ring’s third event, is the first boxing event to take place in the Louis Armstrong Stadium, and will also feature another huge fight.

Stevenson vs Zepeda will feature on the same card as rising prospect Hamzah Sheeraz, who missed out on a world title in his last fight with a draw against Carlos Adames, versus Edgar Berlanga, Canelo‘s most recent opponent before William Scull, who set a record for fewest punches in his fight with Alvarez.
The fight will be Sheeraz’s first as a super-middleweight, though Berlanga is a big fighter for the division.
