Joseph Parker is the biggest threat to Oleksandr Usyk, says Roy Jones Jr.
Roy Jones Jr. believes Joseph Parker has a shot at beating Oleksandr Usyk.
The four-weight world champion claims the New Zealander has the skill set and the coach to push the gifted practitioner of the sweet science to his limits.
When asked by The Ring Magazine about fighters who could potentially dethrone Usyk, Jones Jr. replied: “The most likely suspect is Joseph Parker.
“It’s the only fight that is a little bit of a challenge because Parker has boxing skills, hand speed, he knows how to maneuver like a small man, and has trainer Andy Lee, who knows what he is doing as well.”
While the bout currently doesn’t look likely to happen, Usyk’s team director says he’s targeting the Parker clash.
