Ben Whittaker had to be escorted out of the Kingdom Arena in a wheelchair following a bizarre incident during his fight against Liam Cameron.
Whittaker was looking to continue his unbeaten record and came into the fight as the heavy favorite against Cameron, only to find himself struggling throughout the contest.
The UK star, who is well-known for his showboating antics didn’t seem his usual self and after a bizarre incident, the contest was scored as a technical draw.

As the contest reached the fifth round, Whittaker seemed to struggle more and more, but nobody foresaw what would happen at the end.
With Cameron piling the pressure, Whittaker was left on the ropes however the final bell saw the former fall into the 27-year-old, resulting in the pair flying over the top of the ring.
Whittaker landed on the floor first, with Cameron landing on top. The 33-year-old seemed fine however his opponent complained of an injury to his right leg, signalling an end to the contest.
Moments after the decision to end the fight at the halfway point, Whittaker was spotted leaving ringside in a wheelchair.
Boxing fans slam questionable scorecard after bizarre incident during Whittaker vs Cameron
Due to the unscheduled early end to the fight, the scorecards from the five rounds were used to determine a winner.
One judge favored Whittaker 58-57, a second called it a Cameron win (57-58) while the third judged the fight as a draw at 58-58, meaning the contest ended as a technical draw.
Cameron was visibly disappointed at the outcome, and he wasn’t the only one as several fans questioned the decision on X.
This fan wrote: “Liam Cameron absolutely robbed pretty boy Whittaker used it to his advantage he was beat took the easy way out. Shocking decision a draw.
“Cameron was robbed here,” added a second.
A third tweeted: “Cameron was on the way to winning that and Whittaker knew it.
“I’m sorry but Cameron should of got that WIN he was well ahead. Ben Whittaker cannot punch he’s a wish version of Prince Naseem,” claimed a fourth.
Another wrote: “Whittaker’s toughest fight and started to struggle, before they went over the ropes felt Cameron was ahead on points.
“Feel for Cameron there. Thought he was ahead…with Whittaker struggling to keep up with the pace,” commented a sixth.
