Chris Eubank Jr. has garnered plenty of traction in 2025 thanks to his high-profile grudge match with Conor Benn.
As Eubank Jr. was able to defeat Benn via unanimous decision, the fighter can now boast bragging rights over his family rival.
Although Benn is a potential future opponent for Eubank Jr. as the two may rematch, there are plenty of options for the Englishman. Seemingly showing interest in a showdown with Canelo Alvarez, that may be on the card for Chris Eubank Sr.’s son.
There is another name who may be a viable option for Eubank Jr., as a competitor has called out the fan favourite.

Chris Eubank Jr. called out by Aaron McKenna following Liam Smith victory
Eubank Jr. has been called out by undefeated middleweight contender Aaron McKenna as they both emerged as victors on April 26th.
The ‘Silencer’ McKenna now holds a 20-0 record, after he had a dominant showing against former Eubank Jr. rival Liam Smith in London. Performing on the undercard of Eubank Jr. vs Benn, McKenna has now eyed a fight with the winner of the grudge match.
Speaking to TalkSport, the Irish fighter has expressed interest in fighting Eubank Jr.
When asked about what his next steps in boxing might be McKenna responded by saying, “Chris Eubank [Jr.] is one that I’ve always called out to fight.”
Aside from Eubank Jr. coming off the back of a huge headline bout, there are some more historical reasons behind McKenna’s call-out.
“The father got beaten by an Irishman, Steve Collins, so I’d like to repeat that history, continue the story on.”
Chris Eubank Sr. suffered his first professional loss to Steve Collins, as well as being bested by him for a second time in a rematch. Both of the fights took place in Collins’ home country of Ireland.
Hamzah Sheeraz was also mentioned as a possible opponent by McKenna in his interview.

Chris Eubank Jr. expresses an interest in fighting Canelo Alvarez
Although Eubank Jr. has now been called out by McKenna, he might be eyeing a fight with one of the greatest Mexican fighters of all time.
During a recent interview with Sky Sports, Eubank Jr. was asked for his thoughts on a potential fight with Alvarez, as Turki Alalshikh has expressed interest in the bout.
Eubank Jr. responded by saying, “That is another stadium filler, absolutely. Wembley, Tottenham, any one of the large football stadiums in the UK would be filled for a fight like that.”
“He is an opponent that I’ve been looking at for many years now, and the fans would love to see that.”
