And on a card littered with ex-Octagon stars, including Tony Ferguson, Till turned in a scintillating knockout win over Luke Rockhold in the opening minute of the third round.

Eddie Hearn offers verdict on Carl Froch vs. Darren Till grudge match
Never seeing wholly eye to eye during their time in the boxing realm, Matchroom Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn has offered quite the verdict on Froch’s willingness to potentially snap his 11-year retirement.
As far as Hearn is concerned, in fact, while the pairing is an interesting fight on paper — he’s unsure whether there will be enough money up for grabs to make Froch consider a return to the ring.
“I think it’s a cracking fight,” Till told IFL TV of Froch vs. Till. “I don’t think Carl should be boxing again, but this is a bit different.
“He won’t do it,” Hearn said of Froch. “‘Cause it’s not enough money. I don’t think there’s enough money for Carl. Because, if Carl got beat to (sic) Darren Till, it would be a tough pill to swallow.

Noting his past work with Froch in booking him against both Mikkel Kessler and his infamous rivalry with George Groves, Sauerland admitted he would try to convince the Nottingham star to fight Till this year.
“We’ve had a chat, yeah,” Sauerland told Boxing News after Misfits Boxing 22. “I’ve made a lot of fights with Carl Froch over the years, two (Mikkel) Kessler fights, (Arthur) Abraham, George Groves at Wembley Stadium, so I’ve done a few [fights] with Carl.
“I think we can get it [a fight with Darren Till] done, but we’ll see,” Sauerland explained.
