Turning in another spectacular win overnight, Darren Till seems to be edging closer to a showdown with one of his biggest rivals.
Headlining last night’s Misfits Boxing 22 card in Manchester, former UFC star Darren Till scored a spectacular win over ex-champion Luke Rockhold.

And issuing a massive callout after his third-round win over Rockhold, Liverpool puncher Till called for a showdown with former world champion boxer Carl Froch.

And seemingly gung-ho on a clash with the ex-super middleweight titleholder, Till offered to fight his compatriot as soon as December.
Kalle Sauerland provides update on Darren Till vs. Carl Froch
And having dealt with Nottingham native Froch in the past, stalwart promoter Kalle Sauerland has cleared the air on whether a fight between the former WBC champion and Till is actually viable.
Notably, highlighting his past with Froch, Saureland claimed he was confident of securing the former’s signature on a deal to fight Till in a stunning return from an 11-year retirement.
“We’ve had a chat, yeah,” Sauerland told Boxing News after Misfits Boxing 22. “I’ve made a lot of fights with Carl Froch over the years, two (Mikkel) Kessler fights, (Arthur) Abraham, George Groves at Wembley Stadium, so I’ve done a few [fights] with Carl.
“I think we can get it [a fight with Darren Till] done, but we’ll see,” Sauerland explained.

And even before his thunderous knockout of ex-UFC and Strikeforce champion Rockhold, Till made a rather concrete offer to Froch.
Darren Till offered to fight Carl Froch in December
Remaining steadfast in his pursuit of a clash with former world champion Froch, ex-Octagon star Till issued an x-rated call out of the Hall of Famer post-fight.
Urging his fellow countryman to enter the ring and face off with him in person, Till was denied by Froch, who had already left the AO Arena.
But even before his fight with Rockhold, Till vowed to make a December return to the ring under the Misfits banner again, hopeful to see Froch stand opposite him.
“I was ready to fight Carl Froch for this fight [at Misfits Boxing 22],” Till told IFL TV. “But Carl Froch turned round to DAZN and said he needs 12 months.
“I’m ready to fight Carl Froch in December,” Till explained. “And I know the hurdles and the obstacles to fight Carl Froch, but I’m ready to fight him in December.”
