Another former world heavyweight champion has now called out Jake Paul following the YouTube star’s controversial unanimous decision victory over Mike Tyson.
The monumental showdown was staged in front of 70,000 fans at the AT&T Stadium, Texas, last Friday, headlining Netflix’s first ever live boxing event.
What is more, Jake Paul and Mike Tyson achieved the biggest gate – outside of Las Vegas – in combat sports history, while also attracting 60 million-plus viewers from around the world.
But still, fans were quick to criticize the nonsensical spectacle, which ultimately saw Paul labor through eight two-minute rounds against his faded 58-year-old opponent.

Oliver McCall calls out Jake Paul after stopping Stacey Frazier
Since his uninspiring victory over Tyson, Paul has seemingly been called out by every active and retired fighter under the sun.
Undisputed light heavyweight champion Artur Beterbiev was one of the first to take the social media star’s bait, with the pound-for-pound star insisting that he is open to any potential offers.
Hall of Famer Andre Ward, too, has now added his name to the conversation, expressing an interest in any serious talks for a possible matchup against Paul.
But now, in a simply bizarre turn of events, former world heavyweight champion Oliver McCall is also targeting the 27-year-old.
‘The Atomic Bull’ is perhaps best known for scoring a colossal upset against Lennox Lewis in 1994, back when he stopped the boxing legend in the second round.
On Tuesday, though, he returned to the ring against obscure heavyweight Stacey Frazier, ending his five-year layoff with an emphatic second-round finish.
Shortly after his victory, McCall said: “I’ll knock Jake Paul out. Bring on Jake Paul and I wanna get revenge for Nate Robinson and then Mike Tyson. That would be awesome.”
Oliver McCall returns to the ring at the age of 59
Not that it was ever a competition, but McCall has now outshone Tyson by becoming the oldest former heavyweight champion to win a professional boxing match.
The 59-year-old’s opponent, however, was no spring chicken himself, with Frazier, 54, offering little resistance against the American.
Aside from the obvious risks attached to his comeback, McCall also has a well-documented history of suffering from mental health issues.
In his rematch with Lewis, for instance, the Chicago-born bruiser began crying in the ring before getting decisively halted in the fifth-round.

And so, it would appear that there are several reasons for why a clash against Paul is, in fact, not the most sensible option.
