Oleksandr Usyk has to face one more fighter after Daniel Dubois, before retiring, according to icon… ‘He’s the last one’

Oleksandr Usyk has one last fighter he needs to beat to cement his legacy.

On Saturday evening, the legend will rematch Daniel Dubois inside Wembley Stadium in London, UK, with the intent of settling his rivalry with the Englishman once and for all.

A second win over ‘Triple D’ would be massive for the boxing genius. Usyk won his first world title against Krzysztof Glowacki at cruiserweight, which set the wheels in motion for what’s been an almost decade-long run at the top of the sport.

However, despite adding so many names to his resume, a former WBC champion believes the pound-for-pound number one still has one more warrior he needs to take out.

Oleksandr Usyk must fight Joseph Parker, according to Tony Bellew

While Oleksandr Usyk has shared the ring with an array of talented fighters, he’s never faced Joseph Parker.

The New Zealander is on an incredible run, having beaten Deontay Wilder, Zhilei Zhang and Martin Bakole.

The former WBO heavyweight King’s accomplishments inside the ring have convinced Tony Bellew that the Kiwi deserves his shot at Usyk.

In a video uploaded to the DAZN YouTube channel, the Liverpudlian said: “The world owes Joseph Parker. The whole heavyweight division owes Joseph Parker. I’ll just say that.”

In response, Darren Barker insisted Usyk should just beat Dubois and then ride off into the sunset.

Pushing back, Bellew asked: “Would you not want Joseph Parker on your ledger? He’s the last one.”

This prompted the ex-IBF middleweight champion to concede: “I might be making a U-turn now, Parker and then retire.”

Boxing coach makes interesting Oleksandr Usyk vs Daniel Dubois prediction

While Usyk is expected to get the victory, the fight certainly isn’t a foregone conclusion.

The Brit has much improved since the last time they battled it out.

Interestingly, a coach says Dubois will be ‘a different man’ in the Usyk rematch.
