Naoya Inoue continues to prove why he’s the pound-for-pound star of boxing with another short-notice turnaround against a dangerous opponent, this time against underrated South Korean Talent Ye Joon Kim.
‘The Monster’ was initially scheduled to face undefeated Aussie Sam Goodman, who withdrew after being cut in training. This also happened in December 2024, when Goodman pulled out for the same reason.
Now, Inoue puts his undisputed super bantamweight championship on the line, comprised of the IBF, WBC, and WBO titles. To say this is an opportunity of a lifetime for Kim is an understatement. Kim wants to show the human side of Inoue with a massive upset.
Either way, this promises to be an action-packed main event. The main card begins at roughly 4 am ET / 9 am GMT, with the main event at approximately 6 am ET / 11 am GMT.
