Moses Itauma has huge momentum following his recent victory and could find himself up against Oleksandr Usyk in the near future.
The 20-year-old Heavyweight has taken the world by storm since his debut in 2023, winning 13 fights in a row, 11 of them via knockout.
Dillian White was Moses Itauma’s latest victim, finishing him within two minutes as he cemented himself as one of Britain’s top fighters and one to watch in the future.
Itauma has been labelled “the new Mike Tyson” and comparisons to Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury have been plentiful in recent weeks.
His next challenge could be the toughest in boxing today, with Itauma’s coach considering a fight with one of boxing’s most dominant champions.

Moses Itauma could fight Oleksandr Usyk
Itauma is coached by Ben Davison, who has experience working with big names like Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury in the past few years.
He can see Itauma achieving things at Heavyweight similar to them, and even at just 20 years of age, wouldn’t rule out a clash with Oleksandr Usyk in the near future.
Usyk is the current Undisputed Heavyweight champion and is undefeated in 24 professional fights, both at Light Heavyweight and Heavyweight.
Davison recently spoke with IFL TV about Itauma’s future, admitting that they would explore a fight with Usyk following the win over White.
However, the trainer revealed that Frank Warren had warned him not to talk about potential future opponents before anything had been announced.
Davison said: “We’re looking at some options, discussing some options, waiting to see what comes back on some offers.
“Again, I can’t mention names because I think Uncle Frank [Warren] would give us a telling off—talking about it drives the price up.
“But yeah, we’re all collectively looking at options. Trying to find those options is hard in itself. And then looking at them, weighing up what’s best—I don’t think it’s out of the question.
“If that was put on the table, it’s certainly something we’d explore.”
Matchroom Boxing’s CEO backs Moses Itauma to beat Oleksandr Usyk when they face off
If Itauma does face off against Usyk, Matchroom Boxing CEO Frank Smith is backing the young Brit to end the Ukrainian’s undefeated streak.
Speaking with The Stomping Ground, Smith admitted Itauma could land a shock knockout on Usyk to become one of the youngest world champions in boxing history.
Smith said: “Yeah. Look, I think the reality is all of these great heavyweights can beat each other. You know, you’ve got 17, 18, 19 stone men, you know, punching.
“You’re all vulnerable apart from what we’ve seen us do in the current day. But that’s the reality of the sport we’re in.
“Do I think it’s probably too soon for a Usyk fight for Moses Itauma? But could he beat him? Yeah.
“How many surprise knockout losses have we seen in heavyweight boxing? So, anything can happen, but it’s probably too soon in terms of taking the risk.”
Itauma would overtake Muhammad Ali’s record as the third-youngest world Heavyweight champion in history if he beats Usyk next year.
