Moses Itauma vs Dillian Whyte is now just days away as both men prepare for a fight that will make or break their careers.
Moses Itauma must defeat Dillian Whyte on Saturday if he is to live up to the expectations put upon him by boxing fans around the world.
His dance partner, ‘The Bodysnatcher’, must also secure a win after his career has been riddled with inactivity, low-level opposition, fight withdrawals, and poor performances for the past few years.
The fight marks one of youth vs experience, and with Whyte looking leaner than ever, could be the toughest of Itauma’s career to date.
Itauma recently revealed that this is not his first dealing with Whyte, as many years ago, he was snubbed by the British heavyweight.

Dillian Whyte ignored Moses Itauma’s request to spar years ago
In an interview with The Stomping Ground, Itauma revealed that, years ago, he messaged a host of top heavyweights to get some high-level sparring, including Whyte,
The interviewer asked, “You messaged Dillian five or six years ago saying ‘Can I get some work?’, you messaged a bunch of heavyweights, did anyone reply?”
Itauma may have been snubbed by Whyte all those years ago, but there was one heavyweight who did reply, “I messaged all of them. No one replied. Actually, I think Joe Joyce might have replied. But this is like 2018/2019 when obviously I was a nobody and these guys were on top.”
Now, six or seven years later, Itauma could be the man to end Whyte’s career for good, as despite his weight loss and desire to win, Whyte’s trainer has never even seen Itauma box, and the 20-year-old phenom could spell disaster for ‘The Bodysnatcher’.
Dillian Whyte predicted to lose by landslide number of boxing experts
Despite having far more experience, it is the 37-year-old Whyte who is being ruled out by the masses in boxing circles, with many high-profile fighters believing Itauma will stop him in brutal fashion.
Derek Chisora said the fight was not winnable for Whyte, stating “there is no light at the end of that tunnel” as he spoke to TalkSport.
Tony Bellew believes “Dillian […] is at the end. […] He’s being paid a king’s ransom to go in there and be dealt with.”

Lawrence Okolie sees Itauma KOing Whyte early, an opinion Carl Frampton agrees with as he claimed fans could be in for “an early night.”
Dave Allen thinks Itauma is all wrong for Whyte, and even the former interim champion’s old coach, Mark Tibbs, sees Whyte losing to Itauma.
Though he is being counted out by the masses, he seems determined to pull the upset and prove he still has what it takes to hang with the best.
