Moses Itauma crushed an opponent with significantly more experience.

On Saturday night, the talented operator will battle it out with Dillian Whyte, inside the ANB arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Moses Itauma ruthlessly finished Ilja Mezencev

On May 18, 2024, Moses Itauma battled it out with Ilja Mezencev, inside the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

His opponent, who held a record of 25-3, was expected to give the Brit his toughest test to date. But when the first bell chimed, the disparity in talent was evident.

In the opening round, Mezencev tasted his rival’s power, in the form of a huge left hand, and only just stayed on his feet.

Alas, he wasn’t so lucky in the second.

Itauma detonated a thunderous right hand that sent the German crashing towards the canvas.

Bravely, Mezencev beat the count, but with his legs all over the place, the referee called a halt to the contest.
