Misfits star promises ‘murder live on pay-per-view’ in first fight since humiliating disqualification

This Saturday will see a huge card for Misfits boxing as Darren Till takes on Luke Rockhold, and Salt Papi faces off against Tony Ferguson.

Misfits has seemingly gone from strength to strength in recent years with some of the major fights they’ve put on.

Even without the star power of KSI, who hasn’t fought since his loss to Tommy Fury in 2023, Misfits continues to attract new viewers, with its next big event being no different.

Billed as ‘The Ring of Thrones’, Saturday night will see Darren Till, who hopes to fight Carl Froch or Andrew Tate, headline his third event, with Papi vs Ferguson being the highly anticipated co-main.

Also on the card, Joey Essex, who sparred Conor Benn, will face Numeiro, Chase DeMoor, who thinks he can beat Usyk, will face Natan Marcon, and Ty Mitchell, who defeated Idris Virgo, will take a step up against Sean Hemphill.

But there is one more fighter on the card who has made a bold prediction.

Dillon Danis promises to murder Warren Spencer years after DQ loss to Logan Paul

In 2023, on the same card as KSI vs Fury, Dillon Danis, who was once scheduled to face KSI himself, entered the ring against Logan Paul.

The pair had had much beef ahead of the fight, and fans expected a war. Danis did not give them that, though, as he refused to engage, showing very little boxing prowess against the frustrated Paul.

In what was a terrible fight, Danis realized he was losing and began attempting to shoot takedowns on Paul, ultimately ending up rolling on the canvas with a disqualification loss.

Now, Danis will make his second, and hopefully more serious, Misfits appearance, as he takes on Warren Spencer.

This fight will be Misfits’ very first MMA fight, so Danis will stand more of a chance than last time.

Spencer is 1-1 as a Misfits fighter, and Danis has assured viewers that he will stand no chance on Saturday.

Danis said, “Tune in, make sure to see a murder live on pay-per-view.”

When the interviewer said we hopefully wouldn’t see a murder, Danis simply said, “It will be.”

Dillon Danis’ opponent reveals one shocking weakness

Ahead of the first MMA fight on Misfits, Spencer admitted that while his striking is good, his jiu-jitsu is terrible.

He told Fred Talks Fighting, “Crap. My jiu-jitsu is crap. I’m not even gonna sit here and lie to you, brother, I am a white belt. It would be even worse.. Imagine if he gets tapped out by a white belt.”

Despite his confidence, failing to train jiu-jitsu seems like a shocking oversight when preparing to face a bona fide MMA fighter.

Spencer remains adamant that he will get the win, but only Saturday night will tell.
