Misfits 22 has seen fireworks from the opening bout, and its first MMA bout was no different.
Misfits 22 opened with ‘the next Floyd Mayweather‘ J’Hon Ingram stopping Banty Singh, and saw some huge fights from Joey Essex’s slugfest against Numeiro to world-ranked Canelo sparring partner Sean Hemphill‘s loss to Ty Mitchell, who has had just one fight in 14 years.
In the final fight on the undercard before the first of two main events in the double-header, Misfits saw its very first MMA fight, which pitted Warren ‘The Mechanic’ Spencer against former Bellator fighter and Logan Paul opponent, Dillon Danis, who had a bizarre callout after his big win.

Dillon Danis faced off with Eddie Hall after his 15-second win over Warren Spencer
In the first MMA fight hosted on Misfits, Dillon Danis, who was once set to face KSI in a fight that never happened, faced Warren Spencer, who, in reality, was out of his depth against such a talented grappler.
Danis was able to force Spencer to tap in just 15 seconds.
After the fight, though, the 178-pound Danis came face-to-face with none other than Eddie Hall, the former world’s strongest man and first to ever deadlift 500 kilograms.
Hall has weighed as much as 434 pounds in his life, and faced off with Danis, who asked him if he would come down below 400 pounds to face him.
Hall suggested he would come to below 300 pounds if it meant he would get a fight with Danis, and, bizarrely, it seems that a match-up between the two could come next.
The British strongman has made a foray into MMA, where he defeated Mairusz Pudzianowski after an odd fight against two brothers, one of whom he savagely knocked out.
He has also boxed before, losing by unanimous decision to strongman rival Thor Bjornsson.
Dillon Danis could face Tony Ferguson next after his big win over Salt Papi
After eight consecutive losses, fan-favorite UFC fighter Tony Ferguson hung up the gloves.
Though his time in MMA was over, he was not yet ready to quit combat sports altogether, and signed up to fight Misfits star Salt Papi on the card.
Whilst Ferguson at first looked stiff and hesitant to throw, he began to warm into the fight, and a flurry in the third round saw him rock Papi, before dealing punishment on the nurse-turned-boxer.
The fight was stopped, and despite some suggesting it was premature, Ferguson had finally broken his losing streak.
Danis entered the ring soon after, and suggested Ferguson should fight him for the Misfits MMA belt next.
Perhaps Ferguson is not quite done with MMA after all.
