Mike Tyson was a thunderous puncher, but according to an icon, there’s one man out there who packs a heavier punch.
At the peak of his powers, the American was a truly terrifying individual, who utilized his famous peekaboo style to bamboozle his opponents, before taking them out with his lightning combinations.
Tyson hit so hard, that he once broke the eye socket of an infamous gang leader. However, while his power was formidable, it wasn’t quite as brutal as a recently-retired knockout artist.
This man really did know how to land the perfect knockout shot.

Jeff Fenech says Lucas Browne has a heavier punch than Mike Tyson
Former world champion, Jeff Fenech, has felt Mike Tyson’s ruthless punches on the pads.
However, having trained Lucas Browne extensively, he thinks the Australian, who captured the WBA Regular heavyweight title against Ruslan Chagaev, carries a heavier blow.
He told The Courier Mail: “Tyson was a devastating puncher and his punches were fast and snappy.
“Lucas has a different sort of power. It’s heavy and thudding. His punches are like big rocks landing on your head.”
In an interview with Boxing News, Fenech added that Browne did more damage to him than ‘Iron Mike’ did.
The three-weight world champion exclaimed: “I trained Mike Tyson, and I know it’s hard to make comparisons, but holding the pads for Lucas hurt me more than Tyson did. Tyson was sharp and a great puncher. Lucas is really heavy-handed.”
Lucas Browne says neither Tyson Fury nor Dillian Whyte is the heaviest puncher he’s faced
In addition to beating Chagaev, Browne has sparred Tyson Fury and gone head-to-head with Dillian Whyte.
However, none of those famous faces punched him with the most power.
Now, Browne has revealed the legend that hit him the hardest.
