Mike Tyson has been warned that he may find himself on the end of a stoppage defeat to Jake Paul.
Mike Tyson will face Jake Paul on November 15 after they were forced to postpone their July 21 encounter due to Tyson suffering an ulcer flare-up.
The fight has been sanctioned as a professional bout – his first since 2005 when he faced Kevin McBride.
Aged 58, there have been plenty of concerns raised about Tyson’s decision to face Paul, especially with his health concerns such as his sciatica problems but there may be more than that.

Despite Tyson’s experience and all-round talent in comparison to Paul, his best days are certainly behind him and Aloys Junior, a British cruiserweight who has been compared to ‘Iron Mike’, doesn’t hold much hope for one of the best heavyweight boxers of all time.
Junior told TalkSPORT: “I think he may get stopped, to be honest with you. He is just too old, your body has declined too much at that age.
“It is not good for his boxing legacy, especially if he gets stopped like that by Jake Paul.
“I wouldn’t want to see that at all but who knows, he was one of my idols. If the fight ever happens we don’t know, I just wouldn’t like to see that.”
When is the Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul fight?
After postponing the first date on July 21, 2024, the pair agreed to reschedule the bout for November 15, 2024.
Taking place at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, the fight will also be streamed live on Netflix in a first for boxing.
YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul continued his impressive run in the professional record, extending it to 10-1 in his recent win against Mike Perry, who was Tyson’s late replacement.
Paul wrapped up the victory in the sixth round after the referee stopped the fight, earning the 27-year-old a TKO win against the former UFC star.
