Manny Pacquiao is seeking his first win in six years as he takes on Mario Barrios at the age of 46.
Manny Pacquiao is set to return to the ring after having last fought in 2021, and last won in 2019.
Pacquiao lost to Yordenis Ugas in his most recent outing and is now preparing to face the man who beat Ugas already.
The Filipino fighter has been a major talking point lately, with many debating who would’ve won in one fantasy match-up.

Ricky Hatton weighs in on Manny Pacquiao vs Prince Naseem Hamed and Pacquiao ‘shame’
In a round of quick-fire questions by TNT Sports, Ricky Hatton, who was flattened by Pacquiao in their mega-fight, was asked a series of boxing questions, with one sparking the interest of many.
Hatton was asked who might’ve won a fantasy match-up between Pacquiao and British icon Prince Naseem Hamed.
Hamed retired shortly after his loss to Marco Antonio Barrera, who lost to Pacquiao in a fight that put him on the map in the United States.

Hatton answered the question, unsurprisingly favoring Pacquiao: “I think we’d have to go with Manny Pacquiao, sorry Naz. I mean you know, world champion at so many different weights, how can you go against that?”
“That’s all time greats, and I think the way his career come to an end a little bit it was a shame to see because I think he’s one of the best we’ve ever had by a long way to be honest, just his power and the way he handled certain opponents with ease.”
Hatton, who Pacquiao stopped in two rounds, addressed the shame of Pacquiao’s recent unsuccessful comeback in his answer, claiming to be disheartened to see his former opponent fight on in his older age.
Manny Pacquiao may stick around even after the Mario Barrios fight
Though many are concerned to see Pacquiao fight on at the age of 46, it seems the Filipino fighter may have more fights in his locker than just the Barrios comeback.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Pacquiao stated that he feels great at this age, and is certain he has more to give to the sport he’s dedicated the last 30 years to.

He said, “I think I have two or three more fights left. I feel like I could do this for another couple of years. But I’m just taking it one at a time.”
It is unclear who his next opponents could be, though it will all depend on whether he is able to get past Barrios.
