Manny Pacquiao will beat Mario Barrios, according to world champion who’s been training with the icon

Manny Pacquiao has looked great in training, according to a boxing superstar.

On July 19, the Filipino will challenge Mario Barrios for the WBC welterweight title, inside the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

At 46 years of age, the eight-weight world champion is a huge underdog. However, Roy Jones Jr. expects Pacquiao to beat Barrios.

And so does the reigning WBO super lightweight King.

Teofimo Lopez thinks Manny Pacquiao can beat Mario Barrios

Teofimo Lopez recently trained with Manny Pacquiao and was left very impressed by what the all-time great can still do.

Despite the odds being in Barrios’ favor, ‘The Takeover’ believes ‘PacMan’ will get the job done.

In an interview with Fight Hype, he said: “What Manny Pacquiao is doing at this age, that’s different.

“High spirits, energized, motivated, determined, and I look forward to seeing him, raise his hands again, become world champion once again.”

Despite having climbed the boxing mountain, Barrios hasn’t done enough to earn the respect of a former two-division champion.

This retired fighter believes we could witness an upset at the weekend.

Interestingly, the icon says Pacquiao will win because Barrios ‘sucks’.
