Former world champion megastar Manny Pacquiao has been offered his next outing to the ring following his recent comeback to boxing.
Making his return from a four-year retirement earlier this summer, Pacquiao would force Mario Barrios the distance in a hugely competitive majority draw, competing for the WBC welterweight crown again.

And making another return to the top of the WBC rankings in his heralded comeback to the ring, the 46-year-old Pacquiao has been linked with a whole laundry list of potential opponents next.

But namely, an Australian contender hopes to force the issue in his return to the ring, welcoming Pacquiao to his home country in a bid to right the wrongs of his last trip to the region.
Liam Paro guns for Manny Pacquiao showdown in Australia
Set to make his own welterweight move proper in his next outing, former IBF light welterweight champion Liam Paro bounced back to the winner’s enclosure for the first time in his career last time out.
Suffering his own loss to Richardson Hitchins back in December of last year, Paro has since stopped Jonathan Navarro with a fifth round win in Queensland.
And booked to return against the undefeated David Papot next in his first pay-per-view headliner on home soil, Paro is looking to book his own ticket to a blockbuster fight with Pacquiao with a huge win over the Frenchman.
“If I got to share the ring with Manny Pacquiao it would be a true blessing,” Paro told Code Sports.
“…I’m sure Pacquiao would love to right the wrongs against (Jeff) Horn by beating another Aussie. I’m here waiting for him if he wants it.
“I really do believe I can beat Manny Pacquiao,” Paro explained. “Let’s face it, he is a legend of the sport, but he’s now 46 and he was very good a few weeks ago against (Mario) Barrios.”
Manny Pacquiao’s last trip to Australia
Making a rare trip to Brisbane in defense of his WBO welterweight crown back in 2017, Pacquiao would find himself on the wrong side of one of the most controversial losses in recent history.
Pitted against former school teacher Jeff Horn, Pacquiao dropped a highly-contentious unanimous decision loss to the hometown favorite — with Teddy Atlas infamously backing Pacquiao as the legitimate winner afterwards.
However, while Paro is gunning for a fight with Pacquiao next, the Filipino star has also been linked with a clash opposite Rolly Romero in his next outing — in a bid to once more win the WBA welterweight crown.

Competing just once in Australia in his professional career, Pacquiao would be afforded the chance to potentially avenge his defeat ‘Down Under’ in a clash with Paro if the pairing can materialize, that is.
