Mike Tyson will come out of retirement to collide with YouTube star Jake Paul in a controversial clash at the AT&T Stadium, Texas, on November 15.
The pair were set to lock horns back in June before ‘Iron Mike’ was forced to pull out due to an ulcer flare-up, delaying streaming juggernaut Netflix’s first live boxing show.
Since then, the 58-year-old has insisted that he is back to full health, while others continue to express their concern over the former heavyweight champion’s wellbeing.
Nevertheless, Mike Tyson appears determined to return to a professional ring for the first time in nearly two decades, taking on a pure novice in Jake Paul.

Lennox Lewis considers a potential rematch with Mike Tyson
While their divisive showdown is, technically, a professional bout, both Tyson and Paul have agreed to play around with the rules a little.
For instance, the rounds will last two minutes instead of three minutes, and the two combatants will wear 14-ounce gloves rather than 10-ounce gloves.
But regardless, several members of the combat sports fraternity have taken issue with Tyson’s return to boxing, with some even suggesting that he is damaging his legacy.
And yet, former undisputed heavyweight king Lennox Lewis has hinted at a comeback fight too, targeting a rematch with Tyson over 22 years on from their first encounter.
But still, the 59-year-old refuses to confirm his stance until he has seen his former foe in the ring with Paul.
“[Tyson] is a boxer; he knows how to protect himself; he knows how to throw body shots; he knows how to cut off the ring,” Lewis told TMZSports.
“It really depends on his mobility, if he can move fast around the ring. Remember he’s going after a younger guy, so we’re going to have to see.
“Let’s see how he makes out in this fight, and then I’ll tell you after [whether the rematch with Tyson will happen].”
Mike Tyson reveals ripped physique ahead of Jake Paul fight
It is yet to be seen whether Tyson is keen to exact revenge on Lewis, who stopped him in the eighth round back in 2002.
Ahead of his upcoming battle with Paul, though, the legendary boxer looks to be in terrific shape, revealing his muscular physique on social media.
But while he may appear to look the part, fans must first cast their minds back to his devastating defeat to Kevin McBride before jumping up in excitement.
And so, even with his chiseled frame, Paul will no doubt look to prove that Tyson is, in fact, a Ferrari with no engine.
