Oleksandr Usyk is starting to look unbeatable after running through boxing’s best big men.
The former undisputed cruiserweight king has won seven consecutive fights and become the first-ever four-belt champion since moving up to heavyweight in 2019.
In December, he beat Tyson Fury for the second time after previously overcoming Anthony Joshua in back-to-back fights and stopping Daniel Dubois, who has since KO’d Joshua to claim the IBF heavyweight title.
Lennox Lewis, who was the last undisputed heavyweight champion before Oleksandr Usyk, recently explained how he would approach a hypothetical fight with the undefeated 23-0 Ukrainian.

Lennox Lewis points out Oleksandr Usyk’s weakness
Lewis believes Usyk is vulnerable to one particular shot that is among his favorites.
The heavyweight legend was recently asked how he would approach a fight with ‘The Joker’, who has proved to be an unsolvable puzzle for his opponents since turning pro in 2013.
“I would throw a good uppercut because he’s susceptible to a good uppercut and I throw a mean uppercut,” Lewis said during a press scrum.
“That’s how I would definitely fight the fight.”
Usyk’s body is frequently pointed out as a potential weak spot, with one of his former training partners claiming to have dropped him with a body shot in sparring.
Lewis believes that the 37-year-old has already addressed his issue with taking body shots, and will be waiting for his opponents to target it so he can fire back with counters.
He added: “Anybody that’s vulnerable to the body and everybody is saying it, usually goes back and works on the body.
“And says, ‘Let them think I’m vulnerable to the body, that’s what I want them to think. Now my body is tough, and now if they go to the body, I will hit them at the same time’.”
Lennox Lewis distances himself from Evander Holyfield trilogy
Lennox Lewis fought Evander Holyfield to a draw before outpointing him over 12 rounds when they rematched for the WBA, IBF, WBC, and IBO heavyweight titles in November 1999.
Holyfield is still looking for revenge 25 years later. During Mike Tyson’s recent comeback fight against Jake Paul, he called for Lewis to end his retirement to complete their trilogy.
In a recent interview with Mail Sport, Lewis distanced himself from the matchup.
“I don’t think so,” he said about a third fight with Holyfield.
“That’s nice of him that he wants to get back in the ring with me, but I’m not really pushing to get back in the ring with him.”
Tyson has also distanced himself from a trilogy with Holyfield, who suffered a disastrous first-round KO defeat to UFC legend Vitor Belfort when he returned to the ring at 58 years old in September 2021.
It seems Holyfield is determined to box in 2025, it’s just about finding a big-name opponent that would get fans to tune in to his latest comeback.
