‘KSI will expose Jake Paul’… Boxing promoter claims ‘The Problem Child’ wants nothing to do with ‘The Nightmare’

KSI and Jake Paul have been firing shots at each other for years, but according to one boxing promoter, ‘The Problem Child’ and his team are running scared of ‘The Nightmare’.

The pair of social media icons have generated enormous buzz for their potential fight. Alas, their respective armies of YouTube subscribers are concerned that the bout they so desperately want to see, may never materialize.

Mams Taylor says Jake Paul won’t fight KSI

Jake Paul is currently scheduled to make his return to the ring against 57-year-old, Mike Tyson, on November 15 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, USA. The polarizing match-up has rendered hardcore boxing enthusiasts furious, with fans across the globe sickened by the prospect of one of the greatest fighters of all time, being knocked unconscious by a man whom he’d have dealt with comfortably in his prime.

In the meantime, KSI will next grace the squared circle in an equally bizarre contest. Reports claim that the Brit will take on Slim Albaher and Anthony Taylor in a two-on-one contest.

Rightly or wrongly, both bouts will likely receive huge media attention and fan interest from around the globe. However, there’s no denying that their followers would rather the pair just sit down at the negotiating table and arrange a deal to fight each other.

Alas, according to Misfits Boxing promoter, Mams Taylor, Paul and his team want nothing to do with the English phenom.

He told talkSport: “I publicly tweeted that I am willing to put my ego with Nakisa aside and facilitate this deal.

“Jake wanted it, he agreed to 175lbs initially, then we agreed a verbal deal at 180lbs. Everything was agreed with details to come, and then Jake lost to Tommy.

“He then decided to fight Nate Diaz instead and not fight KSI. I’m still a bit confused about it.

“I text Nakisa and said, ‘dude ceasefirel, and said, ‘let’s make this fight happen for the people for part of their legacy’.

“I said, ‘Let’s do it at 185lbs’, which is what Jake proposed in January. 183lbs is tough for KSI, but it just isn’t happening.”

Currently, it appears the considerable size difference between the pair, is placing hurdles in the way of contracts being signed, with Taylor refusing to bow down to Paul’s requests.

He said: “We will not be succumbing to all of their demands, and he isn’t a fighter who needs to fight Jake Paul.

“So, we won’t give up weight and agree to stipulations that give Jake an advantage.

“We won’t be trodden on, neither fighter needs each other, and I think Jake is continuing to milk his facade of wanting to become a world champion.”

Paul reignited the fire, asking KSI if he’d step in and replace ‘Iron Mike’ at 200lbs after the boxing great pulled out of their original July date. The Brit quickly responded with a ‘take it or leave it’ counteroffer for a scrap at 185 lbs in the US.

And now, Taylor claims negotiations for the contest have gone beyond the point of repair, with Paul’s team doing their utmost to prevent the bout from happening.

He concluded: “I genuinely, with all my heart, believe they don’t want the KSI fight. Because I think KSI exposes Jake.

“I can tell you this: KSI would be Jake Paul’s kryptonite, and there is no way Jake Paul beats him. I really don’t believe that fight happens, it will not be all on their terms.

“As a gentlemen I have come forward and been completely ghosted. I said we’d compromise and come to America, to do 185lbs, which isn’t JJ’s optimum weight.

“Beyond that, it is on you guys, and it is radio silence.”

Regardless of whether the match-up ever happens or not, for now, Paul needs to be focusing his energy on Tyson, regardless of whether an NFL icon is giving the legend much of a chance or not.

NFL star says Mike Tyson has made a mistake in fighting Jake Paul

With a heavy heart, American Football great, Le’Veon Bell, has revealed that he’s extremely concerned for Tyson.

Like many athletes, the former All-Pro running back, who holds an impressive 4-1 boxing record, grew up watching Tyson in awe. From his brutal knockouts to his peekaboo style, the ex-heavyweight King dazzled Bell on more than one occasion.

However, like the majority of the public, he isn’t blind to the fact that at 57, his hero isn’t what he used to be, recently uploading a hard-hitting video, where he put into context exactly what he believes will happen when Tyson goes head-to-head with Paul later this year.
