Last weekend, AnEsonGib emerged victorious against Slim in an eagerly-anticipated clash in Doha, Qatar.
However, while the rivalry with his American foe made for a great storyline, his feud with KSI captivated fans even more so.
The pair clashed throughout fight week, with ‘The Nightmare’ claiming he did a number on his nemesis during sparring. However, ‘Big Gibber’ claims there were extenuating circumstances.
In an interview with The Fellas, he explained: “I suddenly see JJ (KSI) gloating that he beat me in a shark tank, in a thing where I’m at a disadvantage. He would get tired, go out, get a rest, come back in, and he gloated that he won that.”

He later added that he hurt KSI when they sparred in the lead-up to one of his fights in 2021.
AnEsonGib claimed: “Before [I fought] Taylor Holder, this is when Ali AnEsonGib was a meme; I rocked him in West Ham. He was skating about, arms flailing about everywhere.
“After that, I was thinking to myself, ‘Everybody thinks I’m a meme right now, but I’ve just wobbled this guy; he’s f***ing skating about right now. I’m going to tweet this to clear my name, but I said, you know what, I won’t’. And he’s gloating that he won a shark tank.”
