Keyshawn Davis sent a chilling message to Gervonta Davis about a potential super fight.
Newly-crowned WBO lightweight champion Keyshawn Davis wants a big-name fight after dismantling Denys Berinchyk with a body shot on Friday in New York City. After a 12-0 run to begin his professional boxing career, Davis capped off his remarkable streak to stop Berinchyk and reel in a new era amongst boxing lightweights.
Ahead of his WBO lightweight title win, Keyshawn called out Gervonta Davis, in a matchup that’s gaining ground after the former’s championship climb. Gervonta is scheduled to face Lamont Roach Jr. in what could potentially be his final professional fight on March 1st.
After winning a world title, Keyshawn has a cold message for Gervonta as talks ramp up about a potential clash in the ring.

Keyshawn Davis slams Gervonta Davis: ‘Does Tank have the balls?’
In a recent appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show, Keyshawn was asked about a potential clash with Gervonta.
“I think Tank will definitely get past Lamont Roach…I feel like to the casuals, he’s been fooling the fans, and I feel like at this point they’re ready for him to fight somebody worthy of him,” Keyshawn said. “I’m not chasing Tank, I don’t care about Tank for real. I’m 13-0, and a lot of the world knows me, and that doesn’t come from me fighting names, that comes from me kicking a– and taking names…
“Tank knows I want to fight him…the question is: does Tank have the balls to fight me? Do you have the balls to fight Keyshawn? Ask him those questions, don’t ask me. Because I’ll fight anybody.”
As of this writing, Gervonta hasn’t responded to Keyshawn’s latest remarks.
Keyshawn Davis could force Gervonta Davis to postpone teased retirement
Gervonta calls his upcoming fight with Roach his final appearance in the ring, despite potentially lucrative fights against the likes of Shakur Stevenson, Ryan Garcia, and Keyshawn in the mix. But after amassing a 30-0 professional record, Gervonta believes he’s accomplished everything he can in the sport, and may opt to call it quits on top.
Before defeating Berinchyk, Keyshawn earned inter-continental title wins over Gervonta’s former rival Jose Pedraza, along with Gustavo Daniel Lemos and Miguel Madueno. The 25-year-old is expected to be a force for years to come in the lightweight division.
If Gervonta postpones his teased retirement, a fight with Keyshawn could make a lot of sense for a 2025 clash. But for now, their feud continues to take shape.
