Katie Taylor will spend the next few days contemplating her fighting future.
The undisputed lightweight and super lightweight world champion is fresh off a thrilling win over Amanda Serrano, who she beat for the second time on the undercard of Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson on Friday night.
Taylor survived a point deduction to claim a unanimous decision victory and improve her professional boxing record to 24-1 in front of 70,000 fans at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
The 38-year-old is approaching the end of her career and she admits there will now be a short period where she considers if this is the last time we see her in the ring.

Is Katie Taylor considering retirement?
Katie Taylor was honest when asked about potentially retiring in the immediate aftermath of her latest win over Serrano.
‘The Bray Bomber’ admitted she will give some thought to her fighting future, even though the fire still burns and she feels capable of taking a couple more trips to the ring.
“I’m gonna have to make that decision now obviously in the next few days or so,” Taylor said when discussing retirement with talkSPORT.
“But I love my sport, I love my boxing, and tonight was a great night.
“I do feel like I have maybe one or two more fights in me.”
There’s not much left for Taylor to achieve. A trilogy fight with Serrano would certainly appeal to fans, but she’s unsure if it’s warranted after going 2-0 up in the series.
Taylor added: “I’ve beat her twice now, so is there any need for a trilogy?
“But if she wants it, it’s her fight [and] I can absolutely give it to her again.”
Katie Taylor discusses the fight and scorecards
Many people watching at home thought Serrano did enough to get the victory.
The Puerto Rican superstar out-landed Taylor by more than 100 punches, but it wasn’t enough to convince any of the ringside judges she was a worthy winner.
All three officials scored the fight 95-94 in favor of Taylor, who knew the contest was close and could’ve gone either way at the end.
“I had to dig deep there again tonight, but I’m so happy to get another win,” she said.
“Another amazing night live on Netflix, another monumental moment. I’m just so happy.
“It’s very fresh right now, I obviously have to look back at the video, but I feel like I landed the bigger shots in the second half of the fight.
“I feel like my inside hook was very good tonight and that’s what won me the fight in the end. It just took a lot of heart and grit in there tonight and I got the job done again.
“I wasn’t sure how the fight was going to go. It was a close fight, but all the judges were in agreement, and I was happy with that.”
