Katie Taylor has discussed whether she’ll hang up the gloves after her third win against Amanda Serrano.
Last night, two of the greatest fighters in women’s boxing history closed the book on a historic rivalry.
Throughout her career, ‘The Bray Bomber’ has picked up an array of epic victories. Notably, Taylor defeated Natasha Jonas.
However, this win against her arch-nemesis is the one she’ll treasure the most and could also serve as an opportunity for the talented athlete to ride off into the sunset.

Katie Taylor claims she has ‘nothing left to prove’
In a disciplined performance, Katie Taylor showcased her fight IQ and counterpunching skills to win a majority decision against Amanda Serrano.
In the aftermath, attention switched to whether ‘KT’ will ever grace the ring again.
The boxer was quick to rule out the idea of a fourth encounter with the Puerto Rican, during her post-fight interview, saying: “I just don’t want to fight Amanda Serrano again. She punches too hard.”
When asked what the future holds, she replied: “I don’t know. It’s not like I have anything left to prove, but I will take some time and then make a decision on what I want to do in a few weeks.”
Katie Taylor won two very controversial fights against the same boxer
After two controversial bouts with Serrano, Taylor needed to silence the doubters once and for all.
However, while she managed to do that with ‘The Real Deal’, that wasn’t the case with another boxer.
Interestingly, the combat sports community thought Taylor lost both fights against a major rival.
