Joseph Parker is rumored to be facing Derek Chisora for a third time, though Eddie Hearn has suggested another Brit may be in the mix.
Joseph Parker is still hoping for a world title shot after his impressive wins against Deontay Wilder, Zhilei Zhang, and Martin Bakole.
As the WBO interim world title holder, Parker was granted permission to face Derek Chisora in a title defense.
Eddie Hearn, however, believes Parker vs Chisora 3 will not be next, but another Brit could be.

Joseph Parker could face Dave Allen in interim title defense next
In an interview with Pro Boxing Fans, Eddie Hearn was asked: “Joseph Parker vs Derek Chisora 3, does that do anything for you?”
Hearn replied: “Not really, no. I don’t think that’ll happen either.”
The reporter then asked Hearn if Parker could instead face Dave Allen. Hearn wouldn’t write off the idea, and said “Maybe”.
He continued: “It’s going to be a tough decision for Dave because he’s trying to put himself in line for all these big fights where we’ve had probably three top ten heavyweights discuss a fight with Dave Allen.”
Hearn didn’t reveal who those three were, but Parker may well be one of them as he hopes to stay active before potentially facing the winner of Usyk vs Dubois 2.
Allen defeated Johnny Fisher in his last fight.
Joseph Parker nearly lost to Derek Chisora in 2021
In 2021, Parker faced Chisora, who turned down a Moses Itauma fight, on two separate occasions, with the first taking place in Manchester in May.
The first fight was incredibly close, with much back-and-forth from both men. Chisora, who scolded the Whyte vs Itauma fight, dropped a razor-close split-decision loss, which many believe could’ve gone either way.
The rematch was far more conclusive, as Parker won a unanimous decision, dropping Chisora multiple times just seven months later.
